Rachel, wandering the streets in the middle of the night, stumbles into a strange, magical, technicoloured abode.

But this is no ordinary house - behind it's whimsical facade, there are corridors lined with doors - and behind each door, people all over the world, nearing the end of their lives.
And Death watches over them lovingly until it's time to pick them up.

Rachel finds herself thrust on an adventure between 'rooms', as Death shows her what it means to die, and helps her see life through the eyes of the dying.
